This typeface was inspired by the work of two great Bauhaus movers, Theo van Doesburg (1883–1938) and Theo Ballmer (1902–1965) both of whom created an alphabet based on a basic 5×5 grid system. This is the 9×5 version for those of us who don’t get to work that early.

A series of self-promotional postcards we’ve produced over the years, from the top – a call to tour our new website (April 2005); a cross-section of the clients who have helped us grow (January 2006); our launch postcard showing Font Theo, to find out if anyone noticed a missing letter (December 2004); our shift of studio notice (April 2007); and we removed a letter from a local landmark (August 2005) to see if any others needed The Letter D.
