Brisbane’s pastry queen, Jocelyn Hancock asked The Letter D to put together a small brochure for a food tour she will be hosting in the UK.

To reflect the home-cooked nature of the tour, a simple format was created, with system fonts chosen to allow for future online integration.

As Lightspace was being used as the launch venue for Brisbane Indesign, we installed a suite of posters on core-flute in the front entrance to tell the story to the guests arriving. And we even got to plug ourselves…

An old Fortitude Valley warehouse on Light Street is currently being converted into an event space for hire, aptly named Lightspace, with open-plan studios above for lease.

The Letter D was brought in to develop the site’s identity and environmental graphics, along with the launch website – all in time for Brisbane Indesign in September.

Sydney-based artist Silke Raetze was chosen to exhibit her work in the ‘Off the Wall‘ section of the Brisbane Art Fair, in 2008, and asked The Letter D to develop a postcard to showcase her delicate sculptural paper lingerie.

After practicing as a gun for hire for some time James Lloyd decided he should make a business of it, and so asked The Letter D to assist in getting the entity setup to go.

Taking our cue from his minimal bold black & white interiors, we developed a simple text block and applied this across all collateral.
