Constructed using the full range of ‘bricks’ available in FontStruct, Font Duplex is a typographic experiment in legibility – as we restricted each character to only two bricks.

While creating the full signage suite for Lightspace a block typeface presented itself within the exposed blockwork walls onsite, which we’ve used as a bold contrast to the tubular identity, drawn in Font Route.
Using FontStruct’s engine Font Theo Fine’s upper-case was altered, bevelling the corners of each block, with various symbols revised and the toilet pictograms added.
The typeface has so far been used on the Lightspace website and various collateral.

After numerous requests, which we thank all for their interest and persist… sorry patience, we have finally been able to compile Font Airport using FontStruct’s tools.
The upper and lower cases overlap to enable the full matrix to take shape in two tones, for those who are inclined to give it a whirl.

Now there’s an online application that turns it into child’s play – so that’s what we did. The fruits of our labour are now available on FontStruct. Big thanks to Rob Meek.

The recently opened arts, objects and interiors store in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, A Day on Earth, asked The Letter D to develop a collateral system for upcoming exhibitions and media releases.
A simple full cover photo with the shop’s ubiquitous swing tag will be used to portray the subject of each event, with a website underway…
